TidyApply is a job search organization tool. We collect only what we need to provide the service. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share your information with employers or recruiters.

1. What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account and use TidyApply.

We do not collect your resume, LinkedIn profile, or any data outside of what you explicitly enter into TidyApply.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect exclusively to:

3. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored in a secured database provided by Supabase, Inc., hosted on cloud infrastructure in the United States. We use the following technical safeguards:

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we implement strong protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for the purpose of operating TidyApply:

Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not authorize them to use your data for any purpose beyond providing services to TidyApply.

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of TidyApply, its users, or the public.

5. Cookies and tracking

TidyApply uses only essential cookies and browser storage required to operate the service — specifically, authentication session tokens that keep you logged in.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics tools. We do not track you across other websites.

You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will log you out of your TidyApply session.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including your applications, contacts, companies, notes, and profile — is permanently deleted from our systems.

Deletion is immediate in our primary database. Backup copies may persist for up to 30 days before being purged from backup storage.

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page within the app.

7. Your rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

8. Children's privacy

TidyApply is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at privacy@tidyapply.app and we will promptly delete the account and all associated data.

9. International users and GDPR

TidyApply is operated from the United States. If you access the service from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, please be aware that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

For users in the EEA and UK, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

If you are in the EEA or UK and believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.

Your continued use of TidyApply after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
